After studying at University in Glasgow, Rory undertook subsequent roles within the financial services and automotive sectors, which has then ultimately led to him working within the recruitment industry since 2005.

Initially working on high volume, cross-sector opportunities, Rory moved in to dealing with senior roles within the financial services industry.  This provided him with the opportunity to manage complex recruitment processes from initial proposal to successful placement of candidates.

He then moved in to a role which focused on executive recruitment within engineering, manufacturing and supply chain sectors, recruiting for positions across Europe. Specialising in complex capital equipment and electronics, he was responsible for recruiting senior members of staff ranging from Technical Process Managers to Directors and Vice Presidents, primarily in Germany, Austria and France.

Rory has now relocated from Glasgow to the North West of England to continue his career within the engineering and manufacturing sector, and to provide a more hands on, face-to-face service to both clients and candidates alike.  Moving to Core Talent Recruitment gives him the opportunity to join a real specialist within the industry, and to work within a thriving region in the North West and Yorkshire.
