Hello there! - A new recruit to the Engineering & Manufacturing Team!

This is my first week here at Core Talent Recruitment, I’m excited to get my hands dirty with a new challenge and do a good job in my sector of Engineering and Manufacturing.

I’ve decided in my first blogging experience to tell you a bit more about myself. Sport has always been fairly prevalent in my life from an early age, representing my town and county in various disciplines but predominantly spending most of my time playing football for Blackburn Rovers Youth Academy.

When the 10 million pound signing on contract wasn’t laid in front of me I decided to get my education and go onto University, completing a BA in Sports Studies at the University of Cumbria.

After University I went on to travel the world for 7 months with a couple of other graduates visiting places like China, Laos, Vietnam to name but a few. After running out of underpants, I decided to head back to the UK and embark on a career in Supply Chain with SSL International and their Scholl Foot Care brand.

After a couple of years the company were taken over by FMCG giants Reckitt Benckiser and my position moved over to Thailand. This is what led me into the Core Talent office, not wanting to waste my career experience but to use my personality skills on a daily basis I thought recruitment and Core Talent would be a perfect match.

So here I am, the new boy in the office making the brews with the optimism to become an outstanding recruitment consultant.
