****ELECTRICAL CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER - DAYS - MANCHESTER - FMCG - £35,000 + BENS****

 

THE ROLE
This Electrical Improvement Engineer role will be part of an engineering team focused on improvements in manufacturing efficiencies and also implementing new products and innovations. In this Electrical Engineering & Improvements position you will manage improvements in engineering efficiencies and also engineering projects such as; new product packaging and new capital machinery introductions.

Primary objectives will be to improve line efficiency, reduce quality issues ppm and reduce manufacturing machinery downtime. You will interrogate PLC systems and identify potential improvements to be made. You will utilise lean manufacturing tools to aid this process also.

THE PERSON

Successful applicants for the Electrical Improvements Engineer must have an engineering background in maintenance engineering with high speed within FMCG. It is ESSENTIAL that you are conversant with PLC systems and have an electrical background and skillset. You will be in a hands on role in Maintenance Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Design and have progressed into a role focused on improving line efficiencies. You will also have working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
