This is an excellent opportunity to join an iconic internationally renowned business with in the automotive sector as Senior Inventory Manager. In this position you will be joining a successful, fast paced and rapidly developing team.

The Role

The Senior Inventory Manager will ensure optimal levels of inventory at agreed target customer service levels on a range of products through pro-active inventory management whilst maximizing inventory stock turns. Maintenance of part forecasts and scheduling parameters through forecasting / inventory planning software will be an important part of the role. You will be expected to identify best practice opportunities at all times assisting in driving the business forwards. Ensure that inventory management thoroughly integrated throughout the entire operation and with the clients supply chain and other logistics activities.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced in inventory control, or a supply chain planner with experience of managing the import of consumer goods or other products on a domestic or international basis. Ideally the candidate will have recent automotive industry experience, be highly organised, a strong communicator and will enjoy working in a fast paced and challenging environment. Evidence of developing leadership skills, strong project management, team facilitation and analytical skills are also essential.
