*****PROJECT ANALYSIS & APPRROVAL MANAGER - RETAIL / E-COMMERCE - HERTFORDSHIRE - £50,000 TO £60,000*****

My client is a leading international multi-channel retail organisation who in support of a number of proposed business change and transformation projects are seeking to appoint a senior individual to analyse new project proposals and to subsequently give project go ahead authorisation.

ROLE
This is a newly created position which sits independently from internal project sponsors and project delivery teams and which reports into director level within this high profile retailer. The role is designed to assure delivery of cost / profit benefit and return on investment derived from business and systems projects by way of detailed analysis and critical review of all initial project proposals with robust remedial / corrective actions recommended if necessary. The role holds ultimate responsibility for final go-ahead approval for business critical projects.

EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have previously worked within a structured project delivery environment either within retail or financial services and will have experience within, and a sound knowledge of end to end project delivery including:
Inception, initial scoping, business case and proposal preparation.
Robust tracking and reporting including project status (issues and risk resolution).
Stakeholder management.
Financial tracking - project revenue, capital and benefits.
Final project delivery and operational handover.

Strong organisational and problem solving abilities along with good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
