***JOB TITLE: MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - SECTOR: AUTOMOTIVE PRECISION MACHINING- LOCATION: NR LIVERPOOL - SALARY: CIRCA £35,000***

OUR CLIENT RECRUITING THE MANUFACTURING ENGINEER;

Our client is a leading precision manufacturing organsiation supplying in to the automotive industry.

THE ROLE OF MANUFACTURING ENGINEER AND PRODUCTION ENGINEER;

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will part of a team responsible for overseeing the new product introduction process, whilst maintaining and supporting current model manufacturing. Your remit will be driven by planned projects and reactive engineering to support manufacturing. This will include;

Implementing optimum practice production techniques,
Cost reduction activities and exercises,
Installation of manufacturing layouts,
Implementing continuous improvements,
Focusing on improving quality levels and introducing new processes,
Project managing new product introductions from an engineering perspective.

THE CANDIDATE REQUIRED FOR THE MANUFACTURING ENGINEER AND PRODUCTION ENGINEER ROLE;

Applicants must be experienced manufacturing engineers or production engineers who have 'hands-on' experience of machining and project engineering. You will be ideally degree qualified in an engineering or manufacturing subject or alternatively have HNC or HND. The manufacturing engineer must have excellent organisational and communication skills as well as a strong sense of urgency and an ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment. The production engineer must be a confident decision maker and a proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach with the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team.
