Our Client for the role of Quality, Health and Safety Manager

Is a market leading Manufacturing business with a leading reputation in its field of manufacture. They have evolved from a traditional manufacturing business into a world class business over the last few years and require a professional QHSE Manager to continue this journey.

The Role of Quality, Health and Safety Manager

The company can be regarded of as a polymer / plastics company serving a number of industries and therefore a number of key Quality and Health and Safety challenges exist. In addition to safeguarding product quality to reduce customer complaints and non-conforming product using quality engineering techniques (RCA, 8d, ishikawa) the quality system (ISO 9001 / TS16949) needs to be kept in perfect condition. In addition there will be responsibilities for Safety on site so the role of QHSE Manager is a unique opportunity for a hands on individual to improve and make world class the Quality, Health and Safety systems. The key to the role will be to have a high profile on the shop floor and change behaviours towards these key areas.

The Person for the role of Quality, Health and Safety Manager

You will have extensive experience of managing quality in a manufacturing environment. Essentially you will have the requisite people skills to change an established culture which doesn't embrace world class quality principles into one where quality is paramount. The same can be said for Health and Safety where a NEBOSH qualification will equip you with the technical knowledge and a no compromise approach will change hearts and minds.
