****ELECTRICAL PLC ENGINEER - DAYS - MANCHESTER - FMCG - £35,000 + BONUS + BENS****

THE ROLE
This Electrical Plc Engineer role will be part of an engineering team focused on improvements in manufacturing efficiencies and also implementing new products and innovations. In this Electrical Engineering & Improvements position you will manage improvements in engineering efficiencies and also engineering projects such as; new product packaging and new capital machinery introductions.

Primary objectives will be to improve line efficiency, reduce quality issues ppm and reduce manufacturing machinery downtime. Through successful interrogation of Allen-Bradley PLC systems, you will proactively seek to continuously improve line performance whilst identifying and overcoming potential bottlenecks in production. You will utilise lean manufacturing tools to aid this process also. You will be hands on working with PLC's on a daily basis, so applicants from an automation, SCADA, Allen-Bradley, Siemens other PLC background are welcomed.

We are seeking applicants from hands on engineers who can interrogate programmes effectively through laptop and line link.

THE PERSON Successful applicants for the Electrical PLC Engineer must have an engineering background in maintenance engineering within a high speed manufacturing environment. It is ESSENTIAL that you are conversant with PLC systems and have an electrical background and skillset.

You will be in a hands on role in Maintenance, Automation, PLC's or electrical engineering. You will be a time-served engineer with a proven background in improving line efficiencies.
