***DESIGN ENGINEER - PRECISION ENGINEERED PRODUCTS - WARRINGTON - CIRCA £50,000***

ROLE

You will generate innovative and practical design solutions to develop new products and improve the existing range. Innovation is required but designs must be robust and meet the required standards and use DFM principles. You will participate in design reviews and use design verification.

Liaison will be required with internal colleagues, suppliers and customers to optimise design and material selection.
Good project management skills are required to meet deadlines and timescales in light of the product development plan. Upgrading engineering practices and utilising requierement engineering.

PERSON

Applicants will be Qualified to Degree level in an engineering or design discipline and must possess a sound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and product design processes.

You must have at least five years experience in a design engineering type role and have sound knowledge of modern design practices.
You must be a proficient with excellent analytical skills.
