Our Client - Recruiting the Design Engineer; Is a global manufacturer of plastic products with a global presence. They have multiple sites and a professional engineering team at each designing and project managing new products from concept through to delivery. They currently have a position for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the business and manage New Product Introductions using staged gate procedures.

The Role of Mechanical Design Engineer;

Reporting the New Product Development Manager, you will part of a team of highly analytical and capable engineers. This Engineering team will apply world class design and FEA principles to design, develop, validate and test innovative new products. The Mechanical Design Engineer will produce and develop mechanical design concepts while liaising with all other departments in the development of new products.

The Person we are looking for as Design Engineer;

You will be degree qualified in mechanical engineering or similar and ideally be chartered engineer or working towards this status. It is essential that you have analytical experience of stress analysis or FEA or CAE ideally with ANSYS alongside your design skills and worked in the manufacturing industry.
