The Maintenance Engineering & Service Improvements role will be part of an engineering team focused on improvements in manufacturing efficiencies and also implementing new products and innovations. As Maintenance Engineer Improvements you will manage improvements in engineering efficiencies and also engineering projects such as; new product packaging and new capital machinery introductions. The Maintenance Engineer Improvements objectives will be to improve line efficiency, reduce quality issues ppm and reduce manufacturing machinery downtime. You will work very closely with maintenance, marketing, procurement and the commercial managers.

Applicants must have an engineering background in Maintenance Engineering & Service with high speed lines and bottling and filling within FMCG. It is ESSENTIAL that you are conversant with PLC systems and have an electrical background and skillset. You will have been in a hands on role in Maintenance Engineering & Service, Manufacturing Engineering or Design and have progressed into a role focused on improving line efficiencies. It is essential that you have also been responsible for project managing new products into manufacture and introducing new plant and equipment.
