*REGIONAL SENIOR TRANSPORT PLANNER (SHIFT BASED - EARLY/LATE) - BLUE CHIP FMCG BUSINESS - NORTH EAST REGION - BASED NEAR NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE - £25,000 TO £30,000 (BASED ON EXPERIENCE) + EXCELLENT BENEFITS & CAREER PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITIES**

ROLE

• Working as part of a regional planning team, you will be responsible for the planning of over 150 vehicles, making in excess 400 customer deliveries plus inter-depot trunking movements per day.
• You will report directly into the Regional Planning Manager and be responsible for planning loads on a day 1 for 2 and day 1 for day 1 basis, liaising with other RDC's and planning teams.
• This role is working on an alternating early/late shift basis.

EXPERIENCE

You will have previous experience of regional or national transport planning, ideally within a FMCG multi temperature or 3PL environment.

• You will have experience of using planning and telemetry software such as Paragon, Isotrack or Masternaut
• You will need excellent communication and IT skills, be highly analytical and customer focused.
