BUYER / SENIOR BUYER GENERAL MANUFACTURING SALARY - LOCATION STOKE-ON-TRENT / CREWE - £28,000 TO £35,000 & EXCELLENT BENEFITS PACKAGE

This is a great opportunity to join a business who are a world renown manufacturing organisation This company has established themselves as key partner in the manufacturing process and supply worldwide.

In this key role within the purchasing team you will be responsible for an area of direct and indirect spend for the site. You will have opportunity to develop full ownership over your categories and develop strong links with suppliers. The main areas of focus are supplier sourcing and selection and further development of the existing supply base nationally and across the globe. The key measures are cost reduction and improving the performance and value of existing suppliers. This will be a varied role where you will be involved in new product introductions.

Applicants will be experienced Buyers or Senior Buyers from a manufacturing background who are looking for opportunities for progression within a growing business. Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent you will have expertise in supplier selection, supplier development and new product introduction. Buyers from within the automotive, aerospace or high technology sectors will have real synergy with this commodity base.
