**STOCK CONTROL MANAGER - WAKEFIELD - RETAIL DISTRIBUTION - £30,000 TO £35,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE - REPORTING TO THE HEAD OF LOGISTICS**

THE COMPANY

• Our client is leading high street retail business who are looking to expand their current logistics team due to an exceptional business growth. They are planning to double the size of their existing distribution within the next 12 months, so this really is an exceptional opportunity to join the senior management team as the business grows.

ROLE

• This is a new and challenging role within a growing high street retail business.
• You will be responsible for the effective management of all stock (c5,000 SKU's) within this fast moving warehouse, from planning of receipt through to despatch.
• You will ensure that all information is accurately recorded onto the WMS.
• You will liaise closely with the senior management team to provide them with effective planning data for the daily resource distribution.
• You will plan physical PI for the manual pick-face and replenishment locations as well as maintaining strict on-line inventory control.
• You will not only adhere to the KPI's set for the operation but be instrumental in producing reports to ensure stock levels and pick accuracy are maintained to the highest possible standards.
• You will manage the existing stock control team as well as growing the team to reflect the ever expanding needs of this successful business.

THE PERSON

• You will have experience of working in a senior stock control position, preferably gained within a 3PL or retail high volume SKU environment.
• You will be highly IT literate and have experience of managing stock control/WMS systems.
• You will have excellent organisation, analytical and communication skills.
• You will have experience at managing a team of inventory personnel.
• You will be able to think on your feet and react quickly to operational demand and changes.
