*SHIFT MANAGER - General Manufacturing -Lancashire - c. £32,000*

ROLE
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager the Shift Manager will have full autonomy of running the manufacturing operation for ateam in a fast paced assembly environment.The objectives for the Shift Manager Days are to develop your direct reports and the whole team in lean manufacturing but ultimately the deliverables are exemplary health and safety, on time in full delivery at the right quality and cost. In addition to your day to day operations role you will have a series of projects aimed at improving manufacturing performance.

PERSON
Applicants must be degree / HND qualified. We are looking for an experienced Shift Manager who must have previous experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment at Management or Supervisory level. It is critical that you push the business forward in terms of lean manufacturing, whilst focusing on the development of all people and processes. It is essential that you have managed a team in manufacturing and can deomonstrate improving performance by developing your team and their skills. We are looking for a Shift Manager who must be an effective team builder and good at people management and development.
