The role of Quality Speicalist is responsible for providing technical support to the site in the area of Quality Compliance and act as a main point of contact for audit programme, quality investment projects and assisting in the introduction of new materials & processes.

Person Specification for Quality Specialist

• The job requires balancing the constant search for new improved ways of working, together with the sustained implementation of agreed ways of working.
• The consistent adoption of structured target setting and performance management processes to deliver departmental KPI's.
• Act as a driver for quality improvement across the site.
• Manage Customer & Consumer complaints process providing follow up & feedback.
• Ensure the technical capability & effectiveness of the Quality Compliance functionon site.
  

 

Qualification and Technical competencies required for Quality Specialist

• Minimum HNC/HND or equivalent (preferably degree) in appropriate science based subject.
• Diploma or Brewing qualification would be advantageous
  
• Experience in quality management and laboratory environments.
• Experience of Physical-Chemical, Micro & Sensory methodologies.
• Good analytical & problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• Significant knowledge and experience of computer based reporting systems.

 

In addition the successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, be able to work on own initiative prioritizing workload effectively and deliver to deadlines.
