An experienced Process Engineer is required to work for a manufacturer of high performance materials based in Blackburn. You will support the implementation of continuous improvement activities using lean manufacturing techniques.

In this key role you will be part of a team of supervisors responsible for identifying continuous improvement opportunities within production, implementing improvement projects and evaluating results. You will work closely with different teams to identify and achieve improvements, including training shop floor operators.

Applicants will be Degree level qualified within Engineering or a Chemicals discipline and have knowledge of problem solving, lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement techniques, such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen and SPC.
