***Project Quality Engineer -Highly Engineered Product - Up to £50,000 - West Yorkshire***

Role

Ensure that requirements defined in the Customers technical specifications are achieved in accordance within the applicable Nuclear Code and Company quality system requirements.

Collect, analyse and report accurate data to identify priority areas for quality improvement.

• Develop objective improvement projects and facilitate their successful completion.
• Provide technical assistance and problem resolution on all areas of the Quality Management System (QMS), Including: Audits, and all Internal and external quality incidents.
• Ongoing development of the QMS system, in terms of standardisation, accuracy, timeliness and efficiency.
• Audit internal and external quality systems and process against Code and company quality requirements. ( ASME III and ISO9001, etc)
• Assist general operation of the Project department.
• Ensure effective time management against the Project objectives and KPI's within the Project department.
• Validate and report internal and external capability and performance
• Liaise with Customer, 3^rd party Inspection agencies to arrange required inspections, etc in association with internal departments and carry out other secondary responsibilities.
• Support the completion of the ASME Code Data Books.
• Develop procedures, quality plans, inspection plans and test plans as required.
• Maintain client relationships to ensure quality goals are attained with minimal rework/repair.
• Co-ordinate ASME related work activities including communication with the ANI and customer QA representatives.
• Observation of all company health, safety and environmental requirements both internally and externally.
