Planning Manager - Dublin

€100,000 - €110,000 + package inc. 5% pension

Join our client's dynamic team in Dublin as a Planning Manager for a leading specialist M&E contractor, specializing in the construction of cutting-edge data centers, pharmaceutical plants, and semiconductor fabs. As the Planning Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

You will initially be managing 2 Planners with huge expansion planned over the next 12 months to grow the business & the team. Projects are located in Ireland, the UK & Europe.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-leading software.

- Collaborate with project teams to identify key milestones, critical paths, and potential risks.

- Conduct regular progress reviews and implement adjustments to optimize project timelines.

- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure alignment with project schedules.

- Provide strategic guidance to project managers and stakeholders on planning and scheduling matters.

- Analyze project data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, construction management, or related field.

- Proven experience as a planning manager in the construction industry, preferably within data centers, pharmaceutical plants, or semiconductor fabs.

- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
