

Damian has a strong track record of achievement within recruitment gained over the last 7 years. After graduating in Business Studies he then gained invaluable experience in the Purchasing and Supply Chain arena within industry and commerce with companies such as Philips, Case and Transbus International. During this time Damian became an accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply – MCIPS. He moved in to recruitment as one of the founding consultants when a Leading International Recruiter formed their Engineering, Procurement and Supply Chain Division. He was instrumental in growing this new operating division from 7 to 70 Consultants and set up their Leeds Office becoming the Managing Consultant in Yorkshire. He left them to form Core Talent Recruitment.
David has consistently achieved high levels of success within recruitment over the last 8 years. After graduating with a 1st Class degree in Manufacturing he worked at Ford Motor Company in a Project Planning position and spent his earlier career in Engineering with MAHR Gmbh and Hyde Group within the Aerospace sector. He has a wealth of recruitment experience spanning the Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain and Financial Services Sectors working for a Global International Recruiter and at Bank of America. His roles have included Recruitment Consultancy and In-House Recruitment within the HR Function. He joined a leading International Recruiter as one of 4 founding Consultants at the start up stage of their Engineering, Procurement & Supply Chain Division. David played a key role in growing this Division from 4 to 70 Consultants and his career progressed into a Regional Management position where he was responsible for their Liverpool and Manchester Teams. He left them to form Core Talent Recruitment.
Claire joined Core Talent in 2007 and is responsible for the day to day management of the office and associated support functions. She has extensive experience in Marketing, Accounting, Client Management as well as more general Secretarial duties.
Claire has bought a wealth of office management experience to Core Talent after spending over six years working for a large specialist recruitment consultancy, where she had been fundamental in orchestrating business growth.
Theo joined Core Talent at the start of 2008 after leaving a successful career in Engineering and Manufacturing. After graduating from Manchester University Theo specialised in working in Supply Chain, Projects and Sales roles with companies such as the Ener.G Group. He specialised in creating effective communication streams between engineering, manufacturing and sales departments to excel in customer delivery. Theo’s natural people skills and strong work ethic have helped him build key relationships within Industry in the North West. Theo specialises in recruiting within Purchasing and Supply Chain.
Stephen moved into Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment in the North West in 2006. Before this he had a successful career of over 10 years across the Engineering & Manufacturing sectors. After graduating with a 1st class degree in Mechanical Engineering he joined Xerox as a Development Engineer gaining valuable experience in R&D and Manufacturing. Stephen then moved into more customer facing roles with Technical Software providers Adept Scientific and Instrumentation Specialists Grant Instruments, selling solutions across a broad range of industry sectors. His broad knowledge of the industry made the move into recruitment possible, initially setting up Engineering within a small technical consultancy and now helping to build the business for Core Talent in Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
Fraser moved into recruitment after an established career in Logistics. Initially working for Tibbett & Britten, he progressed quickly within the business to the position of Site Operations Manager, before moving into the retail sector in senior national logistics roles for Virgin Retail then Safeway Stores Plc. Since making the transition into recruitment, Fraser has developed considerable experience of recruiting in the logistics and supply chain sectors. He has joined Core talent after a successful period with another specialist recruiter in the North West. He is using his extensive logistics knowledge and network of contacts to develop relationships and place candidates with some of worlds’ largest logistics businesses. In addition to this, Fraser has supported, advised and recruited for smaller 3PL, retail and manufacturing companies, utilising his experience to indentify and source logistics candidates who fall outside their key areas of expertise.
