This is an exciting opportunity to work for a reputable automotive supplier with a great reputation in the market and an enviable customer base. The business offers a flexible and attractive package, training and development.

The Account Manager's role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

THE ROLE

Responsibilities include:

• To promote sales and efficiently manage a portfolio of accounts

• Build, maintain and expand strong, long lasting customer relationships (existing as well as new customers)

• Plan and attend various customer meetings - some in Europe

• Submit quotations to customers and make decisions relating to price and other terms and conditions as appropriate

• Complete administrative work as necessary

THE PERSON

We are looking for an established Account Manager who can step into this role and hit the ground running.

Essential:

• 3 years' experience in an account manager role

• Experience in manufacturing - preferably automotive

• Strong financial skills - profit margin awareness and the creation of budget presentations

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Computer literate with a good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

• Current full driving licence and valid passport

• Willingness for training and development

Preferable:

• Additional language skills - French, German, Spanish, Italian etc.
