Account Manager - T1 Automotive
Salary - c£50k plus benefits
My client, a global T1 Automotive manufacturer are seeking an account manager to join their team in the UK.
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, you will be specifically responsible for all business with JLR in the UK, generating and maintaining a strong relationship and growing the account.
Report on customer's expectations and opportunities
Achieve progress in the further establishment of suppliers at customer through -
Win interest of the customer
Understand the customers engineering needs
Support technical and quality audits from a sales perspective
Provide attractive quotations
Present product concepts
Create cost breakdowns
Ultimately win orders
Dealing with customers face-to-face
Candidates without any automotive manufacturing experience will NOT be considered.
It is essential you have -
Some experience across Automotive manufacturing - preferably in a T1/OEM environment
Drive to learn
Project Management skills
Technical and/or commercial education (Bachelors, Masters degree or similar) background
A natural seller with strong Sales skills
A persuasive, motivating and winning personality
Competent in holding professional meetings and building relationships with demanding OEM customers
