My client - a multinational Automotive supplier - are seeking an Account Manager to head up a brand new OEM account.
With full autonomy, the Account Manager will be responsible for one of the businesses largest accounts, ensuring the maintenance of a positive and healthy relationship with the customer
Key responsibilities of the Account Manager:
Manage and develop key customer accounts
Travel domestically and globally in order to develop and maintain excellent relationships with existing and new clients.=
Develop tangible projects that can deliver additional growth for the business
Deliver quotations in a timely manner in line with company standards and client expectations
Determine (in conjunction with the NPI management team) priorities for quotation submission & prototype manufacture
Candidates without direct experience in automotive manufacturing will NOT be considered for the Account Manager.
The ideal Account Manager will have:
An Automotive background
3-5 years as an Account Manager
Strong sales skills
Proven ability to build relationships with demanding OEM customers
Full UK driving license
Ability to travel frequently across Europe
HND/HNC, Commercial/ Technical Degree or equivalent
European language skills are attractive, but not essential
