This is a great opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to work for a truly global Tier 1 Aerospace supplier.
The Account Manager will report to the Commercial Director managing a portfolio of existing key accounts whilst generating and maintaining strong relationships with clients. As this role deals with clients around the world, it is essential the Account Manager is open to travelling.
Key responsibilities of the Account Manager:
Manage and develop a portfolio of existing client accounts
Report on customer's expectations
Identify and action opportunities for account growth
Reporting figures, account growth and new business opportunities directly to the Commercial Director
Create presentations and cost breakdowns for customers
Holding professional meetings and building relationships with OEM's
Achieve progress in the further establishment of suppliers at customer through a variety of methods
Candidates without direct experience in Aerospace manufacturing will NOT be considered for the Account Manager.
The ideal Account Manager will have:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Account Manager in Aerospace Manufacturing/Supply
Ability to work independently and in the line
A natural relationship builder
A persuasive, motivating and winning personality
Competent in holding professional meetings and building relationships with demanding OEM customers
Full UK driving license
HND/HNC, Commercial/Engineering Degree or equivalent
Previous experience using MRP systems
Language skills are beneficial, but not essential
My client has various bases across the globe. This Account Manager has flexibility to work from home and manage their own diary but are centralised to the office when not travelling.
