Core Talent are currently looking for an Assistant M&E Project Manager with at least 3 year's experience in the refurbishment and fit out of commercial properties to join a leading contractor in the Wembley area. This is a permanent role offering upwards of £45,000 per annum for the right candidate. You will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of M&E projects across London ensuring high standards of quality, health and safety are met at all times reporting directly into the Project Manager.
Role Responsibilities:
To assist in managing resources on the project on a day to day basis and to report any staff issues as appropriate.
Communicate with the client on occasion to identify their requirements and ensure projects are always completed to their requirements, budgets and deadlines
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately documented.
Ensure health and safety throughout the project is managed to the highest standard
Attends meetings and is prepared to travel as required
Assist the Project Manager to manage project commercial and issues and produce cost reporting (WIP).
Represent the company on any internal or external issues.
Prepare detailed plans to administer the project and ensure the project team are familiar with them and are following these guidelines.
Regularly audit the project to ensure compliance.
Communicate with the project team regularly on project specific matters and company initiatives.
Managing procurement, labour and sub-contractors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years M&E Project Management experience
Relevant trade background or Degree Qualified
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations
Excellent management and communication skills
Excellent Computer Skills - MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel.
Recognised qualification in Project Management - preferred
