Are you a Change Control Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a new challenge working for a tier one Mechanical & Electrical sub-contractor?

I am currently looking for a very specific Change Control Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a client who specialises within the London mechanical and electrical sector.

The client is currently turning over around £200M and are known for successfully delivering projects across the following sectors:

• Commercial

• Mixed Use

• Data Centres

The successful candidate for the Change Control Quantity Surveyor position will be a driven and confident Quantity Surveyor who is able to find changes needed on a project and they will be able to communicate efficiently and effectively in order to resolve the issue.

Job Role:

• Monitoring change in the scope of work and price changes.

• Liaising with the client and different departments.

• Review and understand of project contract documentation.

• Preparation and issuing of contract documentation to their supply chain.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates

• Have experience looking at loss and expense on a project.

• Managing and forecasting of project cash flow.

• Issuing of contractual notices and evaluate loss and expense/acceleration claims

Personal specification:

• Degree qualified or equivalent within the industry.

• 3-5 years' experience quantity surveying in a QS role.

• Data Centre experience

• A wide understanding of mechanical and/or electrical work packages.

• Strong communication skills.
