CNC Maintenance Engineer - Aerospace
6 month Contract
You will be required to take preventative and reactive maintenance and carry out machine installs, equipment and plant maintenance.
You will do daily checks on plant & machinery and recording data in log to ensure that they are fit for purpose
You will ensure that contract servicing of essential machinery is in place and carried out according to the service schedules
You will undertake routine servicing of equipment / machinery according to the preventative maintenance schedules
You will need to acquire correct spare parts for machinery and equipment when needed
Also, the role will need you to develop and train other members within team and to train operators on correct start-up and shutdown procedures for all machinery
Time served recognised engineering background with a minimum of City and Guilds, ONC, HNC, NVQ in electrical/ mechanical engineering, hydraulic or numatic quals.
Crane, FLT, Sling and cherry picker licenses desirable but not essential.
5 years' experience in maintenance within a CNC machining environment.
Aerospace industry experience
Detailed knowledge of other maintenance activity such as electrical and plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
Knowledge of relevant HS&E legislation
Knowledge of Siemens and Fanuc controlled machines
Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
