Construction Manager

£400-£450 p/d- outside IR35

Slough

My client are specialise in mission critical projects, and are extremely busy at the moment. They have recently won a new project and therefore, require a Construction Manager, to come on this journey with them.

The Role

Reporting directly to the the Senior Mechanical Project Manager, you will have day to day support from the Senior Mechanical Project Manager on site. The project itself is for a Data Centre, so if you have worked within similar sectors, or even if your experience is only within mission critical, I would love to speak to you about this opportunity!

In the role you will work with other subcontractors on site, meetings, and work closely with the end clients, setting out key targets, so that the key objectives are met, walk around. Key objectives within the General Construction Manager role will include:

-Setting objectives for other team members, such as site managers and supervisors(ideally you will be able to illustrate experience where you have managed before)

- Has experience in Rams and H+S as these will become part of the day to day role

-Reporting on the different phases of the project and your progression against these to the end client

-Managing the day to day execution of the project

- Manage and monitor the resources across the project, ensuring people have what they need to deliver

-Running the project to CDM standards

-Identify opportunities within the project

The Person

The business are looking for a driven and proactive Construction Manager that is motivated and experienced within this sector. Key criteria for the role will include:

-At least 5 years of experienced working as a Construction Manager

-Must be experienced within the Mission Critical Sector

-CSA experience is desired

-Excellent communication skills, for the element of dealing with clients and other subcontractors
