Mechanical Design Engineer / Contract / Outside IR35

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for an exciting electro-mechanical engineering business in Hampshire 6 Month Contract basis (Outide IR35).

We are ideally looking for someone who can commit 2 days per week on site with the rest of the work being done remotely.

Due to the nature of the requirement we require someone with the following experience:

Key Responsibilities and Activities

• Expert in design, develop and implementing innovative design schemes using Creo or an alternative MCAD software package.

• Understand Top-Down design principals, using CAD functionality and other digital analysis tools, with a strong appreciation of stress, fatigue.

• Experience in the design of high-volume plastic based parts, specifically using Injection Moulding & Additive manufacturing

Production of relevant Design Documentation (Drawings, BOMs, Specifications etc)
