Exciting new opportunity!! A key client is looking to recruit a career driven design engineer to form a key member of their expanding team! The business design and highly manufacture specialist, high value equipment that is sold to a global customer base. They have a wide variety of exciting projects, working from R&D/ concept stage, right through the engineering lifecycle. The Role

Reporting to the Design Manager, the Design engineer will be a pivotal member of the team and will be supporting key project for the business. Key duties will include;

As part of the mechanical design team, you will lead the design of new machines and subassemblies and associates sub-systems.

You should be proficient in 3D CAD Modelling of complex mechanical machine assemblies

Producing General Arrangements (GA's) and assembly drawings from 3D Models

Carrying out surveys on equipment and various mechanical systems

Presenting design plans to Managers and clients

As design engineer, Producing technical documents that the company requires

The Person

The ideal Design Engineer will be career driven and highly motivated. Key criteria required for the role will be:

• 2 years+ Design Engineering experience

• Experienced within relevant industries (precision engineering/ Sheet Metal/ fabrications)

• Have a positive can do attitude

• Capable of presenting engineering solutions to the wider team

• Degree in relevant mechanical engineering field would be preferred
