Core Talent are currently on the look-out for an Electrical Project Manager with at least 5 year's experience in the data centre industry to join a leading contractor in West London. This is a permanent role offering upwards of £70,000 per annum for the right candidate. You will be responsible initially, for the effective management and delivery of a data centre project in the Acton area, ensuring high standards of quality, health and safety are met at all times. You will be responsible for the project team, along side the Mechanical Project Manager and will report directly into the Contracts Manager.

Established over 50 years ago, our client specialises in the design and installation of mechanical and electrical services across a variety of construction sectors including; Data Centres, Health care, Commercial, education and pharmaceutical
Part of a bigger construction group, though our client are an M&E sub-contractor, they have strong financial backing with the average project size they undertake being circa £30 million

Role Responsibilities:
To manage resources on the project on a day to day basis and to report any staff issues as appropriate.
Communicate with the client to identity their requirements and ensure projects are always completed to their requirements, budgets and deadlines
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately documented.
Ensure health and safety throughout the project is managed to the highest standard
Attends meetings and is prepared to travel as required
Manage project commercial and issues and produce cost reporting (WIP).
Represent the company on any internal or external issues.
Prepare detailed plans to administer the project and ensure the project team are familiar with them and are following these guidelines.
Regularly audit the project to ensure compliance.
Communicate with the project team regularly on project specific matters and company initiatives.
Managing procurement, labour and sub-contractors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years Electrical Project Management experience within the Data Centre sector
Relevant trade background or Degree Qualified
Experience working complex date centre projects
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations
Excellent management and communications
Excellent Computer Skills - MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel.
Recognised qualification in Project Management - preferred
