I am currently looking to speak to Electrical Quantity Surveyors who are open to new opportunities working for an Electrical sub-contractor who are based in Crawley and who are currently winning projects which cover commercial, health care, education & fit out.

The client:

The client is looking for an electrically bias quantity surveyor who has experience working on a wide range of different projects such as commercial, health care, education and fit-out for 2 new projects which they have recently won.

This client is currently turning over around £20M and is looking to grow again going into 2022. Due to their continued success, this client is looking to bolster the commercial team by adding an electrical quantity surveyor in order to help with their current and new projects.

Job Role:

• Monitoring change in our scope of work and price changes.

• Liaising with the client and different departments.

• Review and understand of project contract documentation.

• Preparation and issuing of contract documentation to their supply chain.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates

• Managing and forecasting of project cash flow

• Issuing of contractual notices and evaluate loss and expense/acceleration claims

Personal specification:

• Degree qualified or equivalent within the industry.

• 3-5 year's experience quantity surveying in a QS role.

• A wide understanding of electrical work packages.

• Strong communication skills.

• JCT Design & Build contracts

• NEC Contracts (small amount of experience)
