Engineering Supervisor (DAY BASED ROLE)

Newly created role within a leading manufacturer based in the North West!

The role

The Engineering Supervisor will be reporting directly to the head of engineering and work a day only role. You will be responsible for the day to day supervision, continuous improvement and successful running of the Maintenance department

• Key responsibilities will be to ensure the efficient running of the machinery on site.

• Managing the day to day activity of the team, you will help develop and implement preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled.

• You will also work closely with the project team to Identify and implement cost and efficiency savings.

• Management of department spend/ budget will also fall under your remit

To be considered, you will need to fit the following criteria;

• Experienced engineering professional, with a track record of managing teams.

• Experienced in fast paced manufacturing environments

• Ideally have worked with moulding equipment/ presses/ automated assembly lines

• Be educated to HNC level (or equivalent) in engineering discipline
