Excellent Opportunity for a Graduate Business Analyst looking to a pursue a career within an industry leading organisation! The successful candidate will be joining a £200m turnover, leading Healthcare organisation with a fantastic track record for developing and investing in their people, facilities and systems. The business will support your personal development and look to develop the successful candidate into their Purchasing & Supply Chain team (and will invest in their CIPS course as well)!!

The Role

This is a key role within the organisation. Once fully trained, the Graduate Business Analyst will effectively support the creation and execution of short, medium and long term purchasing strategies to maximise the businesses competitiveness in line with business requirements. Key responsibilities within the Graduate Analyst role will include:

  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and "clean" data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • As a Graduate Business Analyst, locate and define new process improvement opportunities

The Person

The ideal Graduate Business Analyst will need to have strong communication, analytical and organisation skills. On top of this you will need to have the following;

  • Degree educated, ideally in a Business related course
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Good IT/ Microsoft package skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Industry experience within an Analyst/ Supply Chain role would be useful, but not essential
