We are working with a leading Manufacturing business who produce highly specialist products to a global customer base. This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner looking to take their next career step and join a progressive and forward thinking business.

The Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Planner will become a pivotal member of the planning team. After full training, your role will be to ensure optimization of short & medium term production plans. Key duties will include

• The role is responsible for reviewing demand and supply

• Maintain optimum balance between manufacturing efficiency and inventory levels

• Working with key stakeholders Production scheduler, Quality, Logistics and deployment to minimise impact of production and supply issues.

• KPIs Schedule adherence, OE, changes to plan

• Continuous Improvement mind-set

• Replenish stock as necessary in accordance with EMEA Supply Chain procedures

• Communicates with Suppliers to monitor conformance to plan and resolve as far as possible any shortfall identified

The Person

The ideal candidate for this role will be highly motivated, career driven graduate. You must be comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Key criteria to be consider for the role will be as follows;

• You MUST have 12 months+ experience in a planning role (or similar)

• Experience MUST have been gained working in a manufacturing environment

• Strong IT capabilities

• Ability to communicate well at all levels
