We are partnering exclusively with a market leading engineering business who produce specialist, bespoke products to a global customer base. In this exciting Head of Finance role, you will be a key member of the Executive Leadership team and the owner of all financial-related reporting and governance. THE ROLE

As Head of finance, you will report directly to the Group MD and form a key member of the businesses executive leadership team, becoming a key business partner at board level. You will lead the administration of general accounting practices and functions, including maintaining fiscal records, preparing financial reports and performing treasury and tax related functions.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts

Preparation and analysis of variances to budget/forecast; commentary on business drivers.

Implement robust financial controls and oversee the year-end reporting process

Preparation of management information, cash flow & working capital reporting.

Review & implementation of internal controls within the department

Maintain accurate records with detailed support and analyses aligned for monthly reporting.

As a Head of finance, Ad-hoc analysis to support financial reporting, tax & treasury, operational & commercial teams.

THE PERSON

The ideal Finance Manager for this role will be comfortable reporting at board level and be highly driven & Career motivated. Key criteria to be consider for the role will be as follows;

5 years+ experience in a senior Finance role (financial controller/ Finance Manager or similar)

Would be ideal to have a background in some form of manufacturing environment

Outstanding communication and excellent business partnering skills

Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.

Relevant qualifications would be ideal (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
