The Role

Reporting to the VP of Programmes, the Head of Programmes will lead a cross functional team responsible for the management of the project team for both NPI and Mods. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Customer facing
  • Co-ordinate all aspects of the various programmes for allocated customer accounts focusing on driving 100% On Time Delivery at 100% Quality, all the time
  • developing new business and the construction of winning bids
  • Management of PMs and Programme Coordinators
  • Input and support the strategic future of customers
  • Sign off customer issues
  • Project Documentation
  • Project management for NPI including Project budget, timing and profitability responsibility
  • Identifying potential new opportunities
  • Assist in sales campaign, Prepare commercial bids / quotes, RFQS
  • Lead a team to service the customer's requirements
  • Resources planning, Budgeting and financial control
  • Identify and drive metrics to measure contract performance
  • Presenting quality/reliability issues and customer service improvement projects
  • Formulating, instigating and driving recovery programmes for allocated customers
  • Ensuring timely resolution of customer issues and leading Customer Review meetings
  • Coordinate and ensure internal and external approvals

  • Meeting Project Completion Dates
  • Strategic with Good understanding of business processes and methods
  • Supplier / Manufacturing / Quality means and methods, capabilities & constraints
  • Strong business and commercial acumen including supply chain, financials
  • Demonstrate management of full project life cycle
  • Inventory holding and management systems
  • Strong organisation skills, including ability to protect and achieve tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
