Health and Safety Advisor

6 month contract

My client are a main contractor, looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. Ideally due to the nature of work, you will be from a principle contractor background,use to managing subcontractors.

The Role

health, safety and well being advice, workplace inspections, development of risk assessments, procedures and guidance documents

Working on a data centre- ideally this will be your industry background

along with accident investigations and contractor monitoring. Ensuring staff are trained sufficiently and proficiently to health and safety requirements and good practice and assisting managers in relation to their functions under the Construction Design and Management Regulations

strong IT and communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Working with the Project Manager on project deadlines.

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or an equivalent qualification, and have previous health and safety experience
