HEALTH & SAFTEY ADVISOR - GLOBAL MANUFACTURING BUSINESS- LIVERPOOL
40,000 (some scope for more for the right person)+ Bonus and Excellent Package
My client is a market leading manufacturing business who have gone through a recent period of significant growth and internal investment! As a result, they now have a newly created role within the senior management team for a HSE professional at their state of the art facility in Liverpool. The business have an outstanding track record for developing and progressing their people through the organisation. This is a super opportunity!
Reporting to the HSE Manager, the role will be to lead a site-based Quality, Health & Safety Function in the development and delivery of a robust HSE strategy, that ensures the business delivers products of consistent, specified quality and uncompromising safety, Key duties will include;
Experience desired:
Experienced HSE professional- 3 years+ experience in Manufacturing as a minimum
Comfortable challenging people and speaking up
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify
Educated to HND level or above
Strong understanding of health and saftey
Worked on audits + accidents & investigations
Main Responsibilities
Support the EHS manager to ensure compliance with all relevant EHS legislation, codes of practice and relevant internal and external standards.
Provide assistance, guidance and advice and challenge on environment, health and safety matters as the business requires.
Carry out EHS inspections and audits on site and off site as necessary, identifying opportunities for remedial action and continuous improvements as well as covering our legal and other requirements.
Aid in the completion of accidents investigations to get to root cause, helping to provide recommendations to prevent reoccurrence that are reasonable and practicable
