We are currently supporting one of our key clients with the recruitment of a HR Business Partner. This is an extremely successful automotive business with a great history and reputation within the wider automotive industry and the role will be based from their Liverpool site.

THE ROLE

The HRBP will be responsible for supervising the workload and development of the HR (& Payroll) Assistants and will support the HR Manager in strategic initiatives and change management activities. Other responsibilities include:

  • Pro-actively coach managers to address all people-related matters

  • Enable managers to drive a high performing culture through performance management and development processes

  • Identify and support talent development programmes and promote an entrepreneur culture.

  • Support and lead employee engagement initiatives in accordance with corporate programmes.

  • Ensure diversity and equal opportunity in the business in accordance with company policies and procedures and current legislation

THE PERSON

The business is looking for someone who inspires others and adapts and thrives in a volatile, ambiguous and changing environment. To be successful in this role you will need to fit the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience working as a true operational generalist in an effective HR team.

  • HR experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

  • Investment in personal development; professional qualification. E.g. CIPD level 7.

  • Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation and its application.

  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office- intermediate Excel skills advantageous.

  • Solutions- focused approach to people issues with a pragmatic and forward-thinking mind-set.

  • Excellent communications skills; articulate speaker and an effective listener.
