Interim Site Facilities + Security Manager
Staffordshire
Contract: 6 Months
Day Rate: Negotiable

This facilities manager will be tasked with looking all the facilities and services on site whilst also being heavily involved in the high value projects the business is leading; including facility extensions and renovation work. You will have 3 direct reports and you'll be working very closely with the various departments within the business (E.G. HSE).

THE ROLE:

  • Manage all the contractors on site

  • Ensure projects that you are involved in are seen through to completion

  • Ensure all the relevant legislation is kept up to date and compliant

  • Look after the relevant facilities and services (Warehouse, Offices, Yard etc)

  • Produce monthly reports

  • Manage suppliers when necessary

THE PERSON:

Essential:

  • Background, skills and experience within facilities management specifically within an engineering & manufacturing setting (Most sector experience welcome - Aerospace, Automotive, Heavy Engineering, Off Highway, FMCG etc)

  • Strong knowledge of legislation/legislative standards

  • Management experience - So managing contractors on-site/direct reports etc

  • Ability to work with one's own initiative

  • Experience in dealing with suppliers/supplier management

Desirable:

  • HSE Knowledge or Qualifications

  • Understanding of Environmental Regulations
