Interim HR Manager - Logistics
6 Month Contract
£Negotiable Daily Rate
We are currently looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager to join a logistics business in the Oxford area on a 6 month contract basis.
Reporting into Operations Management you will be task with improving efficiencies and processes within a busy HR function.
The successful HR Manager will be tasked with the following responsibilities;
Lead a team made up of a HR Advisor, HR Officer and HR Administrator.
Provide hands on operational HR support on a daily basis.
Support and improve current disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Support and improve current absence procedures.
Support and train members of the management team to take more responsibility for "HR matters".
Identify ways to reduce HR administration.
Attend operations and health & safety meetings, proving guidance and support from a HR perspective.
Assist with the on boarding element for new starters.
Based out of the Oxford site, the ideal Interim HR Manager will have the following skills and experience;
Experience operating at HR Management level.
Experience working within a logistics environment.
A background working within manufacture is desirable.
A track record of removing waste and improving processes and efficiencies within a HR function.
Experience leading HR disciplinary and grievance procedures.
A hands on approach to HR leadership.
