Are you looking for the next step in your M&E QS career?

I am currently looking to speak to intermediate M&E QS for an M&E sub contractor who are looking to add to their commercial team by bring in an intermediate M&E QS on a permanent basis. This opportunity has opened up as a result of the client's success on their current projects & successfully winning new tenders.

The client

The client is a mechanical and electrical sub-contractor who specialise in commercial and mixed use projects ranging from pharmaceutical to residential. This client is a smaller family feel sub-contractor who are currently turning over around £45M and who are set to exceed this number in 2022 as they have landed themselves fantastic contract on some large and prestigious jobs.

Job Role:

• Liaising with the client and different departments.

• Assisting on VO's

• Communicating clearly and confidently to a professional standard

• Assisting the Commercial manager or lead on the project.

• Advise project management on some contractual implications of intended course of actions.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in quantity surveying

• 3-5 years' experience from a mechanical and/or electrical background

• Excellent communication skills

• Confidence to communicate in a professional manor with clients and other departments.
