I am currently looking to speak to Junior & Intermediate mechanical & electrical quantity surveyors who are open to new opportunities working for London based sub-contractors working on exciting commercial projects.

The client which I am currently representing is looking to add to their commercial team by bring in a junior or an intermediate mechanical & electrical quantity surveyor who is willing to learn and work on exciting commercial project which will be based in the centre of London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career and gain experience working for London M&E sub-contractors.

The client:

This client is a London based sub-contractor who is currently turning over around £50M working on fast paced commercial fit-out projects. They are looking to bolster their commercial team by adding another quantity surveyor who has an electrical bias to their team due to a continued growing work load.

This opportunity is excellent for a more junior / intermediate M&E QS who is looking to gain more experience and further their career.

Job Role:

• Liaising with the client and different departments.

• Assisting on VO's

• Communicating clearly and confidently to a professional standard

• Assisting the Commercial manager or lead on the project.

• Advise project management on some contractual implications of intended course of actions.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

• Fit-out

• Shell & Core

• CAT A & CAT B

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in quantity surveying.

• 2+ year's experience from a mechanical and/or electrical background.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Electrical bias would be beneficial.

• Confidence to communicate in a professional manor with clients and other departments.
