INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER - GERMAN SPEAKING

Due to internal movement, my client, a leading T1 Automotive Plastics manufacturer is looking for a German speaking Sales Manager to develop and manage new and existing accounts.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities, primarily across Germany, but also across other assigned countries.
Key responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
Establish plans to expand the customer base across assigned region
Arrange and attend regular visits to OEM's, wholesales, fleets and large-end users
Management of all sales activities including; telephone, email, e-shots, desk research, exhibitions, networking etc.
Attending industry trade shows - frequent international travel
Identifying and approaching new customers
Introducing new products into new markets and distributors
Candidates without direct experience in manufacturing will NOT be considered for the International Sales Manager
The ideal International Sales Manager will have:
A manufacturing background - Automotive experience will be favoured
5+ years in a field sales capacity
Fluent/Native German speaker
Knowledge of selling through distributors
Previous international travel and willingness to continue to do so
Highly computer literature
Clean UK driving license
Degree or equivalent
Marketing skills are beneficial
