Core Talent are currently looking for a Junior M&E Project Manager with at least 3 years' experience in the refurbishment of commercial properties to join a leading contractor in the Canary Wharf area. The initial purpose of the role is to assist in the fit-out of a large office development. This is a permanent role offering upwards of 60,000 per annum for the right candidate. You will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of M&E projects across central London, working alongside the Project Manager to ensure high standards of quality, health and safety are met at all times.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To manage resources on the project on a day to day basis and to report any staff issues as appropriate.

  • Communicate with the client to identity their requirements and ensure projects are always completed to their requirements, budgets and deadlines

  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately documented.

  • Ensure health and safety throughout the project is managed to the highest standard

  • Attends meetings and is prepared to travel as required

  • Manage project commercial and issues and produce cost reporting (WIP).

  • Represent the company on any internal or external issues.

  • Prepare detailed plans to administer the project and ensure the project team are familiar with them and are following these guidelines.

  • Regularly audit the project to ensure compliance.

  • Communicate with the project team regularly on project specific matters and company initiatives.

  • Managing procurement, labour and sub-contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years M&E Experience with experience in the Commercial sector

  • Relevant trade background or Degree Qualified

  • Experience working on high-rise office projects is preferential

  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations

  • Excellent management and communications

  • Excellent Computer Skills - MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel.

  • Recognized qualification in Project Management is preferential
