We are seeking a Junior Planner to join our team as we embark on an exciting project within the thriving data centre sector in the Netherlands. As a sub-contractor, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the success of our projects and advancing your career in project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning:

    • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for data centre construction projects.
    • Collaborate with project managers and senior planners to ensure alignment of project goals with scheduling timelines.
  2. Resource Allocation:

    • Support in the allocation and tracking of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure optimal project efficiency.
    • Assist in identifying potential resource constraints and propose solutions to maintain project timelines.
  3. Progress Monitoring:

    • Regularly monitor and update project schedules, providing accurate progress reports to project stakeholders.
    • Work closely with site teams to gather data on project milestones and assess project status.
  4. Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks and challenges to project timelines and work collaboratively to develop mitigation strategies.
    • Contribute to the development of contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  5. Communication:

    • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of information.
    • Participate in project meetings, providing insights and updates on the project schedule.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience or internships in project planning, preferably within the construction or data centre industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
