THE COMPANY

We're working with a global Tier 1 supplier looking to expand their Software Research and Development team. You'll be working on Autonomous/ADAS programming projects alongside the Head of Software Engineering.

THE ROLE

As a Lead Architect, you'll be responsible for the following;

  • Lead on system design, architecture and integration

  • Design and document key system components, interfaces, infrastructure and communications

  • Lead architecture vision, design and documentation

  • Leads system architecture reviews.

  • Responsible for creating test strategies and plans to test high complexity modules and components, according to ensure solutions requirements are being met.

  • Responsible for defining integration test specifications at system level and ensuring integration tests have been conducted.

  • Responsible for organising reviews after each development phase, for all his work products, according to the development process.

  • Responsible for performing reviews for others work products, on software or system level.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The Lead Architect will have Automotive experience in the following areas;

  • Experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans.

  • Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis

  • Proven experience in systems design and development

  • Excellent architecture and technical support documentation skills

  • Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices

  • Strong knowledge of software evaluation principles and practices

  • Project planning and management experience

  • Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required Technologies/IDEs - C#/C/C++ Platforms Windows, Linux, Android, iOS
