Currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Main Contractor for a Lead HVAC Design Engineer to be based out of their Dublin office. You will be working across their portfolio of Data Centre & Pharmaceutical Projects across the Greater Dublin area as the Design Lead for HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of HVAC design and management

• Developing design briefs

• A proven experience systems design

• Load and system calculations

• HVAC system modelling

• Hydraulic analysis of air and water systems

• Conceptual and detailed design of HVAC systems

• Development of system schematics through all design stages

• Production of engineering designs, drawings, and documents

• Specification writing

• Building Management Systems - development of systems architecture, specifications, controls strategies, sequence of operations through all design stages

Qualifications

• Primary degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering

• 8-10 years building design experience within hi-tech industry projects (Ideally Data Centre or Pharmaceutical Projects)

• Ability to work in teams is essential

• Strong interpersonal skills
