As we expand our operations in the Netherlands, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management: Oversee the cost planning and control aspects of the project, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
Contract Administration: Manage contractual matters, including the preparation and evaluation of tenders, negotiation of contracts, and resolution of disputes.
Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial reports, highlighting key project financial metrics and forecasting future costs.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks related to cost and contracts, ensuring the project's financial success.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local regulations and ensure that all M&E construction activities comply with relevant standards and codes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on mission-critical construction projects, preferably in the data centre sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within data centre environments.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards in the Netherlands.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Right to work in the Netherlands is mandatory.
